Dr. Tella Sunitha is a Clinical Geneticist and Fetal Medicine Specialist focusing on the care, treatment, and counselling of high-risk pregnant women suffering from common and rare genetic conditions such as suspected Down syndrome, teratogenicity, advanced maternal age, and pregnancy-related complications.
Her clinical interests include prenatal screening and diagnosis, genetic counselling, and advanced ultrasound procedures such as fetal echocardiogram. She is highly trained in diagnostic interventional procedures including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
Dr. Sunitha has extensive experience in performing ultrasound screening, fetal echocardiograms, and interventional diagnostic procedures. Her research focuses on first-trimester screening, fetal anomalies, and prevention of genetic disorders.
She has over 15 years of teaching experience in Clinical Genetics, guiding PG Diploma & Clinical Genetic Certificate course students, as well as PG medical, dental, and nursing students.
